Still very young, this wine already offers a delicious blend of cherry and raspberry flavors with currant, milk chocolate, crushed tea leaves, and sweet oak. Bold, with an extremely long finish, its polished, sweet tannins and focused acidity promise even greater days ahead. We're incredibly proud of our 120 cases of 2009 Baconbrook.

The 2008 Baconbrook Cabernet is true to its Spring Mountain heritage. Rich and layered, this inky black wine explodes with wonderful currant and berry flavors, complemented by strong coffee, mint, herb, mineral, and forest floor. Revealing the most opaque color of these offerings, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Baconbrook’s abundant notes of blue and black fruits, forest floor, graphite, and vanilla are followed by a tannic, rich, backward wine with undeniable minerality. The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Butterdragon Hill reveals plenty of plum, spice box, floral, cedary, black cherry, and black currant notes, elegant, medium to full-bodied flavors, and well-integrated wood, acidity, and moderate tannin.
